The guard is fabricated out of aluminum. The base must be bolted to the top of the vertiacal mill, covering the draw bar.
The cover is hinged and allowes acces to the draw bar during tooling changes. A strong magnet keeps the door in the closed position. The hinge is interlocked and prevents the machine from starting up when the cover is open.
Fits draw bars with up to 7" extension.
